This site is dedicated to the memory of Cathie Wilson.

After a long battle against cancer, Cathie Wilson passed away at the hospice , early Monday morning 15th October 2012. When we arrived at the hospice, we immediately felt comfortable and assured that this would be a home for mum in her last days. It was beautiful and peaceful and we felt welcome, like a family member. Our mum had a lovely big room overlooking the Clyde, which we made full use of with friends, family and grandchildren visiting freely. A room the four of us shared with mum that night until she passed. A lot of laughter and a lot of tears. Our mum was a wonderful person and we miss her everyday and we hope the money raised helps another family through their heartbreak. love you and miss you mum, now rest in pleace. ps. dad's soup not as good as yours xxx

Thank you Cathie for welcoming me into your family with so much love and kindness, I loved our wee chats when we were at the hospital and you were having your treatment or walking around Morrisons on a Fri nite! I LIGHT THIS CANDLE AND IT MAKES ME SAD THEN I THINK OF THE GOOD TIMES THAT WE HAD I LOVED IT WHEN DAD USE TO WORK AWAY THEN I COULD WAKE UP IN BED WITH YOU EVERY DAY I USE TO RUN HOME FROM SCHOOL TO HAVE LUNCH WITH YOU BECAUSE SCHOOL DINNER FOOD WOULD JUST NOT DO AS I GREW OLDER YOU KEPT ME RIGHT TO LOVE AND CARE AND NEVER FIGHT YOU WHERE THE STRONGEST PERSON I EVER KNEW YOU FOUGHT SO HARD SECOND NATURE TO YOU I KNOW ONE DAY WE WILL MEET AGAIN THEN I WILL HEAR YOU SAY JAMES I'M IN NO PAIN cont.
